We’ll start with a conversation about your occasion, favorite flavors, and dietary needs. I’ll create a menu just for you, then take care of the evening from start to finish.
I cook.
I prepare and cook your meal in your home, bringing thoughtful cooking right to your kitchen.
I serve.
Plated or family-style, I serve dinner with care so you can stay at the table and enjoy your guests.
I clean up.
I take care of the dishes and kitchen cleanup after the meal, leaving you free to enjoy the rest of your evening.

My cooking starts with the homestyle country meals I love, shaped by my training at The Culinary Institute of America in New York and a career that has taken me through kitchens in New York, Miami, Napa, and Dallas.
I’ve spent more than a decade working in fine dining restaurants and more than a decade running a successful catering company. Those experiences taught me that a memorable meal is about more than what’s on the plate—it’s about consistency, thoughtful details, and making people feel welcome.
I like simple flavors, carefully prepared ingredients, and bringing inspiration from other cultures to familiar dishes. With Private Dinners by JD, I bring that approach into your home, creating a personal menu and an evening you can enjoy with your guests.
